Silvertip – the Cottage
The Silvertip Homestay is located behind the Silvertip Cafe on the Mettupalayam Kotagiri Highway in the tiny town of Aravenu. From here the Kotagiri town is 5km uphill, Coonoor is 16.7 Km and Ooty is 34.4km. We have pleasant weather throughout the year with temperatures ranging in the 20s. The cottage faces the reserve forests on the mountain in front and you can spot wild birds and bison very often. Fenced and secure you are home away from home at Silvertip.
Suite – Doddabetta
The bigger of the three suites have a large bedroom downstairs with an attached bath. The upstairs is a loft for extra bedding and a private bedroom with another attached bath. This will suit a family of up to 6/7 guests with elders and children comfortably. The loft is particularly loved by children. The large windows give a view of the reserve forest in front of the cottage.
Suite – Mukurthi
This suite has a large bedroom with an attached bath. This will suit a group of up to 4 guests comfortably with 2 extra beds. The large windows give a stunning view of the reserve forest in front of the cottage. Birdwatching is a pleasure from here, especially in the early mornings.
